Division of Ownership is as follows:
- 52% share – Global Sun Partners (GSP)
GSP is a business venture shared by all of Arava Power founders – Kibbutz Ketura’s members, led by Ed Hofland, David Rosenblatt and dozens of private investors who financed the company’s activity in its first phase. - 41% share – The Phoenix Group
The Phoenix group is one of Israel’s leaders in financial asset management, insurance and retirement plans. The group manages assets valued at NIS160 Billion. - 6% share –KKL/JNF
Keren Kayemet Le’Yisrael/Jewish National Fund is a non-profit organization and the largest land owner in Israel.
- 1% share – Arava Institute for Environmental Studies
The Arava Institute for Environmental studies is a branch of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev; its goal is to prepare Jewish and Arab leaders for mutual cooperation, finding solutions to many ecological challenges facing The Middle East’s present and future.
