Infrastructure Minister Uzi Landau approved on November 21, 2010 a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) that was signed between the Ketura Sun company (which is owned by Arava Power) and Israel Electric Corp (IEC). The 20-year agreement is worth an estimated NIS 250 million and will allow Ketura Sun and Arava Power to provide solar electricity produced in Kibbutz Ketura that will be transferred to IEC's power lines.
