Ilan Zidkoni – CEO
Ilan joined Arava Power in 2017 with over 20 years’ experience in leading, management and entrepreneurship in the energy and high-tech markets. He began his career at BVR Systems managing the company’s flight systems sector developing and leading multi-million dollar, international projects in the field of defense. Following BVR, Ilan went on to head the Green Oil company which dealt in recycling materials and maintaining the environment. He has vast experience in initiating projects in the field of renewable energy and prior to Arava Power, he established Better Plant – a company that developed and built hundreds of solar arrays throughout Israel.
Ilan holds a BA in economics and management and an MA – cum laude – in Business from the Tel Aviv University School of Management.
Limor Goren – CFO
Limor , a certified CPA, began working in the Auditing Department of BDO Ziv Haft in 2007 coordinating audit portfolios, editing financial statements and tax reports.In 2010 Limor joined Arava Power in the position of assistant Comptroller and Budget Manager. In 2011 she was appointed Comptroller and managed the company’s accounting department throughout a period of financial closes and increasing growth. Beginning in 2015, Limor began serving as Arava Power’s Chief Financial Officer. She holds a BA in Business Management and Accounting from the College of Management and has also graduated Lahav’s Directors’ program.
Einat Davidson – Head of Legal
Einat has 9 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. She started out in the law firm of Shibolet and Partners where she took a large part in the development of the Israeli solar industry and she accompanied many of the leading companies, In the framework of her work with Arava Power, Einat established the group’s legal department and leads the company’s ongoing legal activity.

Ed Hofland – Chairman and founder
Mr. Hofland is a member of Kibbutz Ketura and a co-founder of Arava Power; for the past three decades he has been a leader in several southern Arava business ventures. He initiated and manages several of the Arava region’s plants and factories, generating $1 billion income. Currently Mr. Hofland is the Chairman of Algaetech – an international algae production plant at Kibbutz Ketura; he is also Chairman of Ardag – a $25 million marine agriculture company based in Eilat. In the past, Mr. Hofland also served as CEO of Ardom – the Arava regional packing facility.
David Rosenblatt – Vice Chairman and Founder
David Rosenblatt has developed and scaled businesses in Silicon Valley, Wall Street and Israel. David’s experience spans the healthcare, technology, finance, and energy industries. David has grown established businesses and worked as a founder to fund and develop companies at all stages of development, including serving as Managing Director at BlackRock and co-founding Quicken Loans at Intuit. Earlier in his career, David practiced corporate and international law with Weil, Gotshal & Manges. David holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School, a JD from Northwestern University Law School, and a BS with honors from Pennsylvania State University.
